Statewide Winners“The Jetpack Code”
The STEM Academy @ Bartlett

Supported and mentored a team of seven sixth-grade students from The STEM Academy @ Bartlett whose original short film, “The Jetpack Code,” won the Albany State University NASA Student Video Challenge. The statewide competition invited middle school students to envision a future scenario of living and working in space, incorporating one or more STEM careers or technologies.

Team members Olivia Czisny-Bell, James Larroude, Grady Lynes, Dorian Mobley, Marley Sigmon, Ty Toole, and Parker Von Lehmden earned:

  • a $200 cash prize

  • a classroom set of STEMLingo kits

  • recognition at the Albany State University STEM Conference, where their film was showcased to a live virtual audience of educators, students, and stakeholders across Georgia.
