Meet Mary Ann

Mary Ann Rogers Lamberth is an accomplished educational leader and innovator with more than 15 years of experience in K-12 education, communications, and instructional technology. She currently serves as Assistant Principal at Heard Elementary School, a Title I, STEAM-certified school in Savannah, Georgia, where she focuses on instructional integrity, student support services, emergency responsiveness and planning, communications and STEAM integration.

Mary Ann’s career spans a variety of roles and disciplines, including English Language Arts, mathematics, gifted education, and film and broadcasting. As a Film, Media, and Broadcasting Instructor, she helped guide her school to national recognition, earning the FETC STEM Excellence Award and designation as an Apple Distinguished School. She has also co-authored multiple publications, led successful school branding campaigns, and served on leadership teams that advanced STEM and STEAM certifications at both the middle and elementary levels. As a teacher, she built a nationally recognized middle school program where students collaborated with industry leaders such as CBS, Marvel Studios, Gulfstream Aerospace, Savannah Technical College, and the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) Savannah Film Festival. Under her guidance, students produced multiple domestic and international award-winning films, elevating the program’s profile and providing students with authentic, real-world learning experiences.

In addition to her school-based leadership, Mary Ann is the founder of Millhaus Media & Consulting, a boutique firm supporting marketing and production for schools and small businesses. Her expertise in educational technology is supported by numerous certifications, including Apple Teacher (iPad & Mac), Apple Teacher Swift Playgrounds, Microsoft Innovative Educator, Google Certified Educator, and AI in the Classroom (Canva). She also holds a Georgia Educational Leadership credential and has taught across multiple subject areas.

Mary Ann earned a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University, where she graduated cum laude and was recognized as the university’s Public Relations Student of the Year.

Passionate about fostering innovative learning environments, empowering educators, and strengthening school communities, Mary Ann brings a holistic and strategic approach to leadership. She is also a mom, a wife to a PGA golf professional, and the creator of I’m the AP, It’s Me — where she shares leadership insights, lifestyle content, and practical resources to support fellow educators and leaders.
