Film@STEM Program, Website & YouTube Channel

Founder & Program Lead

I developed and led Film@STEM, an innovative program that integrates filmmaking with STEM education to engage middle school students in creative storytelling tied to science, technology, engineering, and math concepts. The program provided hands-on experience in film production, encouraging students to develop technical skills, creativity, and collaboration.

To support the program, I created and maintain the Film@STEM website (filmatstem.weebly.com) which continues to serve as a resource hub for students and educators, featuring project guidelines, tutorials, and updates on student work. Additionally, the Film@STEM YouTube channel (youtube.com/c/filmstem) showcases student films, highlighting their achievements and providing inspiration for peers.

Under my guidance, students produced award-winning films recognized locally and internationally, reinforcing the connection between STEM learning and creative expression. The Film@STEM program contributed to building student confidence, leadership, and communication skills, while promoting STEM careers in an engaging and accessible way.
